North Mo. | 24 to 30 months on a grass based operation. On grain creep all the way then to a feedlot 15 months??? Don't have a clue on grain inputs seemed a lot of money on the ones we have fed out. There are really so many variables. I know on grass based quality of the winter feed is critical. The guys that have bought my calves feed balage in the winter and are shooting for the 24 month time period. The smaller framed animal 4 and below will finish on grass, 5 maybe, 6 and above drop back 10 and punt. Ben | |
