MO | We have high deer populations and higher coyote populations. I killed two coyotes this morning, and will probably average 2 a week until calving ends. We have lost several calves to coyotes the past few years. They will start eating the calf before the cow is done having it. Our cows also like to hide calves in the woods while they go eat. Makes for a quick and easy kill for a pack of coyotes. My favorite coyote solution would be a 270 with a hand loaded 140 grain soft tip. Its nice to be able to split a skull at 300 yards. | |
