East Central Indiana | And I thought it was just us that had this problem! We've had the same genetics for years and the tail biting has progressivly gotten worse. One thing that we are considering in our area (EC IN) is corn issues. We had very high vomitoxin levels and are wondering if it also has affected the protein levels in the corn. Various people involved in hog production think that this might lead to higher than normal biting occurances. | |
