| We've had some success with the hanging chew sticks, salt lick blocks (probably used more as a toy), hydrogen peroxide on the bitten tail and pulling the damaged pig out. However, I believe genetics play into it since much of our bitting went away when we went to the monsanto super mommy sows (I don't know which boar or the monsanto number - I just wean to finish). In general though where we put the hanging chew sticks, the bitting went down considerably.
HTH, or more bladity blah that won't work either,
