Subject: Cargill Open Front Hog Buildings

Not sure if Cargill was the designer or if that is just what folks here called them. They were three sided buildings on concrete with the pen out front and a drop off of a few inches onto a concrete pad that sloped to one end for the manure to gather on.. The concrete sloped out of the building and towards the far end of the pen where it dropped it to the other pad. Here, these usually faced south. I was curious does anyone still use these for finishing hogs anymore? Does anyone use them for other things now? I have seen one used for hay storage, another for misc. storage and have heard of someone using one for finishing lambs on. Thanks for the info.
