The ground that i'm going to be turning has'nt been worked in several years. It had small trees growing on it. It is river bottom ground, silty loam type soil.
It's rough and a long way from home but the owner is letting me have it for "nothing". He just wants to hunt. It's about 80 ac. of what i think is some pretty good river bottom dirt,if i can ever get it worked down to plant.
How much HP to pull 5-bottom plow?
