oem unit with the blunt leading edge opener, and light downforce will work, but will not cut well enough to suit me. UNLESS you can keep all the units off the old corn rows. I don't have that luxury, and end up with a bean row right over the corn row most of the time.
Reason to fix this is it costs very little, you do it yourself so no outside labor cost.
