68340 | Seed companies need to pay the farmer the same price he would receive if he grew something else, beans, wheat, #2 corn.
So if the gross income of the farm is say, 200 bu x 2.5 = $500. The seed company needs to pay the farmer the approx. the same.
So if corn goes to 3.5 x 200 bu = now $700. Who do you think is going to have to pay that extra $200, or more ?
The farmer purchasing the seed.
That is all I am saying seed corn prices will go up.
How much ? You tell me.
