From a UK perspective. Whats wrong with a euro 7700? It came out of the same factory as will most of the parts in New Zealand they have both US 6000/7000 series tractors so whats the problem? Your local dealer/parts store should be happy of the business.

The rockshaft is a common problem on euro 6000/7000 models but not too expensive to repair $1400 + time and generally looks worse than it is. Generally regarded here as one of JD's finest moments plenty at 10000hrs plus and retain their value well. 20 speed will give you 25mph if I'm not mistaken. Check the hooks are not too worn but from what you say you will not be doing much heavy 3 pt work with it. The hooks I find are much better for hooking up as balls you simply clip the detachable ball onto the implement and lift the arms with the exterior swithches onto the balls. It may also have a different drawbar setup.

I have no problem getting parts from the US for my 1640 Axial Flow and Spra Coupe so why can't it work the other way?

Just my thoughts

Cheers BB
