Subject: Re: EZ Steer or Autopilot

the T2 difference is Dramatic! also in the 4250 the bracket used for the ezsteer is pretty solid (no wobble on the column) but on the 20 and 30 series tractors the bracket wobbles quite abit with the plastic on the steering column. Problems I have is getting the newer tractors to really set the freeplay correct. You just don't know how much the plastic on the column will move. as far as getting it out of the cab, it's 2 bolts for the motor bracket and removing the controller. about 20 minutes the whole system is out. My advice on autopilot or ezsteer? I know now of a guy that planted this year with no markers on HP using an ez steer and now he is thinking RTK/Autopilot. I say buy the ez guide 500/hp system anyway no matter which way you go. once you have that your local dealer should be willing to stick a ezsteer in your tractor to see if you like it.
