You can survive high grain prices if you have some decent hay, but drought can run anyone out of business. Until we reach that proverbial "new plateau" and feed prices stay high for a couple years I'd just call it the nature of the business. Its only been 4 months since I sold some $1.87 corn and had to pay trucking and it didn't look like we'd still be farming if that didn't change. Time will tell.
