| I think the reason why the Huron plant is bidding so high, is that we were very short of corn around here. I'm east of Huron about 10 miles and our yields were 50-70% less than normal, west of Huron most corn didn't even get harvested. And I agree i want every last bit of residue laying on top of the ground for moisture conservation. It's nice to see a 25 cent basis around here once in a while, but it'd be nice to have some corn to sell into it. | |
