Very well said Don G, and this is coming from someone that is mostly all green, including some green Precision Ag stuff. As far as we are concerned here, Deere Precision Ag stuff is on hold for indefinite future. We may try again in a few years, but until then we will find other solutions. As you have so well put it, "Almost all new precision ag hardware (and software) is released with very few of it's features fully functional form", but some seem to be easier on the blood pressure than others. I'm sure Deere will work their way through this mess, but we prefer to have something that works NOW.

That's my brief answer to your question "why do we put up with the rush to get new products to the market like we do?". In short, I am opting to not put up with buying products that have been rushed to market in unusable form. I know that won't be easy, but my blood pressure has had all the spiking it can stand from Precision Ag folks trying to capture market share on name brand alone.
