East Palestine, Ohio (Columbiana Co.) | Caught the show "Fast Money" on MSNBC last night. The group consensus was Pres. Bush was going to come out strongly for renewable fuels----empasizing ethanol. "IF" he does, they are looking for a run-up in corn price, starting tonight, maybe.
On the other hand one of the panel guys is very strongly against ethanol as a fuel source, citing high price ofcorn, natural gas, and other factors. He says cheaper crude is gonna kill ethanol, advising investors to get out/stay away from putting any money into ethanol plants, as they are going to be swimming in red ink.
I'm going to be watching the overnites' tonight while speech is on.
