But...that isn't true population control. I too would like to see some system that would truly control the population by counting the population. It should work just as a liquid flow control works.

The "shaft count" method allows for seed to run completely empty but keeps turning merrily on it's way since that's the only thing it knows to monitor...shaft speed.

I think AL has the chance to pursue a product like that. I think it's long overdue.
