| I'm holding out for the network idea. Would simplify lots of things, it sure would be nice if one machine could set an A-B line and all other machines in the field worked off that line in real time. Hate haveing to make a dummy run down one side of the field with the second tractor to set an A-B line. Harvesting with multiple combines and creating yield maps would be easier too. Really isn't that far "out there". All the technology exist to make it happen, just need to sit down and write the ISO standard. Any thoughts?? I would almost think it would need to be a "master/slave" system where one vehicle controls and stores the master set of data. | |
