DG is right, you'd never get it to go straight since you are steering with the tractor and your reciever is on the implement, you'd never get on line. The latest in autosteer is to have two receivers, one on the tractor and one on the implement to remove any draft from the implement since it's probably not following directly behind the tractor.
If you are just mapping it would work fine, but wouldn't be that much more accurate than on the tractor. And then you have to worry about the cable going to the receiver from the tractor.
