Franklin County, Frisco, IL
does it have the necessary trash clearance for a minimum till operation. I am normally 100% notill, but with some ruts made this fall, it will be necessary to do some form of tillage. Not looking for a FC to run over thousands of acres, maybe 100-150 acres each year, just taking care of ruts and wash outs. Will be adding a crumbler of some sort to pull behind.

Currently we have an old cable fold IH 45, which works ok, just don't want to pull it very deep or it will act like a trash rake.

Thanks
Jim

Eastern Indiana
The Hiniker field cultivator will perform about the same as your IH . There is just not the room for much trash flow through them old three bar field cultivators. And the spring tension on the shanks is not near what newer field cultivators are.
