Anyone ever hear of it or better still, make a Hickory pie ? Should be similar to Pecan pie, I would think. Have a single tree just down the road that probably had 20-25 gallons of nuts on it this year. They are still not all on the ground.
What is the best way to crack them ? On the end? Thin side or thick side ?
