| I wanted to thank everyone for your thoughts, sympathies, ideas and suggestions about our farm dog. As fate and God would have it, we adopted a black Lab mix today. As my wife was telling her mother about the loss of our dog and about the kind words spoken "on that website Rob is always on" her mother told us of a co-worker that had a stray dog show up two months ago but no one claimed her despite their efforts of ads and calling neighbors. this co-worker already had 5 dogs and really needed to move this dog onto another home. So my wife went to see how the dog acted first and so today we took the kids to meet the dog. Hannah, our youngest, was thrilled with this new dog. So Sophie (that is what Hannah named her) came home today. She filled our void and we saved her from having to go to the pound. I think we all won in this case. Thanks everyone for all the advice. It was greatly appreciated. I am attempting to attach a picture of Sophie.
