Have heard too many stories from people buying name brand appliances from Lowes that make me want to avoid buying name brands from Big Box stores. It seems that the "name brand" makes a cheaper model for the Big Box. You think that you are getting a real "maytag" but to get the price down they cut some corners and your "name brand" will not last like you think it should.
