If you don't expect to have accurate guidance under the orchard canopy and only need a rough GPS position, maybe some of the new extreme sensitivity GPS receivers that were designed to work inside buildings may work. the problem with these receivers is they suffer from multi-path interference when under a canopy and aren't generally useful for guidance, however, they might be useful for VRA.
