Berks County Pa. | My daughter-in-law was just at the pediatrican yesterday and got the following explanation for the H1N1 vaccine.
It is made by the same process as the regular flu vaccine. It is a well tested process. The manufacturers have to decide in advance (more than a year) what flu they are dealing with to make a vaccine. In this case the H1N1 was not prevelant at the time the decision had to be made. If it had been, it would have been included in the regular flu vaccine.
I was as skeptical as anyone because the Obama administration loves dealing in crises and so it was difficlut to seperate the real from the politics.
