Subject: Re: H1N1 Vaccine

Turner County, SD
If they allow me to take the H1N1 vaccine, I will. I am 56 and a nurse. It is my responsibility to remain as healthy as I can be so I can report for work to take care of those in need of medical care. I also take the flu shot each year for the same reason. The scary thing about the H1N1 is that by the time symptoms can be tied to H1N1, it is already too late. You have already exposed many people.
Regarding immunizations in children: If we did not immunize our children, the public would be up in arms about the death rate from diptheria and chicken pox, croup etc. What people do not realize is that many children died every year from chicken pox (and we thought it was best for them to be exposed and get it over with). I am so grateful there are immunizations for my granddaughter to take.
