West Central Wisconsin | Our oldest daughter moved 2 1/2 hours away a couple of weeks ago and our youngest daughter started college last month, 45 minutes from home, so ma and I are officially empty nesters. I don't want to sound like a bad dad but we are enjoying it so far. Other friends of ours were dreading the day their youngest moved away but we are fine with it. In fact one of our friends asked us what we were going to do once Sammi moved away and we both said, "what ever we want"! How many other NATers have an empty nest and how are you coping? Joe. | |
