Panhandle of Texas | If you are considering any-type of vinyl, and you like the look of hardwood floors, you really owe it to yourself to check out a vinyl product called Konnecto (sounds like Conn-ec-toe). It is a vinyl, floating floor (meaning it does not stick to your subfloor, but rather just sticks to itself), and it looks very much like real wood. We have a small, high-traffic area in our house done in Konnecto, and some of our builders/remodelers thought it was real wood. Our color choice was "Sunrise" (but I also like "Sunset"). About 10 colors/shades to choose from. The company took pictures of real hardwood planks, then converted those images to the vinyl. Easy to install, did it myself with a razor blade and a square; and sticks together very good. Very real looking, and no I do not work for any type of flooring company..I'm a full-time farmer and rancher. Just look at it before you buy something else if you're considering anything in the tile or vinyl family. | |
