| We were hauling out of flat storage to Owensboro Grain. Taking advanage of free DP to haul in Dec. before the weather turned bad and to open up the building for other uses. Well, the truck came back yesterday and said the free DP was over. I called the buyer and he said basicaly they have stopped taking any beans not contracted because they are full and have 1.5 million bu. coming in on Jan. contracts. So farmer selling in this case was some time before now and should have been factored in to the price before the first of the year if this holds true among other end users.
What are others seeing at terminals/end users??
Were the funds playing the stops so tight that the early 8 to 10 cent drop tripped them?
I am talking mostly beans. I am out of the corn market for now.
