Postville Iowa | I had a CaseIH Rowtrac and one thing I didn’t like about it was it seemed heavy in the back and yes left more of a track than my 2 track that I still have. One thing I liked about the Rowtrac was with only a 12 row planter it turned on a dime and berming was very minimal. Before spring I traded the Rowtrac off on a Claas 930TT (half track also). Claas has more track on ground but berms more on the end and it berms more from the front tire pushing dirt while turning. The Case track had shorter lugs than the Claas which also makes berming less. I know what you mean about the front and rear higher. I had both tractors side by side on cement and it was obvious the CaseIH front and rear were higher and could easily tell track wasn’t touching the ground. With all this said I still have a Challenger 765D 2 track and it’s pretty hard to beat that tractor. | |
