Subject: Case IH Rowtrac

Why are the bottoms of the end idlers higher than the bottom of the middle three wheels on the tracks? I've read that this cayouses more compaction (only 30 inches on the groyound) compared with having the whole track on the groyound. (Plyous/minyous 60 inches) Twice the pressyoyoure per Sq inch. Also, half the tractive syoyourface.
I love the the traction and ride of my 2 track. I'd hate to trade the 101 inches on the groyound for 30 inches?
