Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I am quite familiar with the use of the Auxiliary Input Module and a Liquid Product Control Module as I have used them on my own personal Hagies, planter etc. I used to work as a sprayer tech and have made "homemade" switch boxes. At first I experienced some of those same 15 second delays until I learned how the switch boxes need to work with the Auxiliary Module.
The adapter cable that goes from the Auxiliary Input Module to the 16 pin connector works in many situations but NOT all even though it mates. I believe your Hagie is one of those situations.
The reason is somewhat confusing. I believe I understand it and have been able to work "with or around". It's quite clear in my own mind but I don't think I can explain it very well and frankly most farmers don't care. They just want it to work.
Your 16 pin connector was likely designed to feed the output from your OEM switches to a Raven 460 and also to the section valves. When an Ag Leader is installed these switches become input to the Auxiliary Input Module and should not directly control the section valves. This is necessary so the system can shut OFF the section valves when it believes the area has already been sprayed even though the section switch remains ON.
With my Hagies (first an STS-10 and now an STS-12), I do NOT use that 16 pin connector for anything, it just lays on the floor.
Instead I have a special wiring harness that is inserted between a pair of Hagie connectors under the arm rest. This wiring harness splits off the input switches and routes them to the Auxiliary Input Module. Another branch is plugged into the Liquid Product Control module which ends up back into the opposite Hagie connector to actually run the boom sections.
This way the Hagie OEM switches become inputs only. The Liquid Product Control Module controls the section valves based on several factors.
I do not know if there if the special wiring harness I am using would be correct for a Hagie DT series since I have only used it with the STS series.
I believe that harness is the root of your problem.
