Missouri
When we ran it, we used harvestech brand, either sold by CNH or Agco, it’s slightly different formulated than generic. We started with branded, just figured we stay with since it was working for us. Just price shopped it, bought local, then ordered some out of Lowe in Ohio I believe, then bought back local different dealer. You’re going to get the best buy buying 265 gallon tote.

In your area Bill Hennessy will probably have best price on generic preservative. Down in lower or western Midwest, spring creek at products in Deshler Nebraska was the go to.

Off memory generic was running 75 to 85 cents lb and branded was 1.05 to 1.25 lb But we quit baling alfalfa with preservative 7-8 years ago.
