Basis levels at STL for Dec- Jan time frame for corn is below normal. $.10 or better corn basis is pretty much a given at STL. Current corn basis for Jan is 3 over Mar. Have sold corn for Dec delivery to STL at 33 over Dec. IMO basis at STL for corn, that is without damage will rise to historical levels.
Bean basis is higher than normal for Dec- Jan, but a far cry from where we were at this summer. | |
