No. In fact I believe a Quad-Range 40, 42 and 4440 share the same pinion shaft and gear set. The way to fix that tractor easily would be a salvage yard complete rear from a fire damaged or engine failed tractor.  Lots of ways to fix older tractors, but NOT new parts and NOT at a dealer in today’s world.
