New Castle, PA | Judging from the responses to the post, most folks seem to be willing to give the seed companies a pass when the seed company is unable to fulfill its commitments. Now let's put the shoe on the other foot. Let's say you contract 5000 bushels of corn for delivery at a certain time at the elevator or ethanol plant. That time comes along and you do not have the 5000 bushels. Is the elevator or ethanol plant going to give you a pass?? Or is it "different" when the farmer cannot fulfill his commitments.
