NE CO | Seedman, I just upgraded my E-Z Steer and E-Z Guide Plus yesterday. Yes, it took me forever to finally find the instructions on the website on installation of these upgrades. The confusion is partly a result of similar named products and upgrades. The E-Z Guide upgrade is Version 3.1 and you use the null cable plugged into the bottom of the lightbar to do the upgrade. To upgrade the E-Z Steer, you use Version 3.01 and (in my case with the Terrain Compensation) plug into the short cable with the green connector connected to the power supply cord on the T2 unit. I upgraded the e-z steer right off the bat, but struggeled with the e-z guide upgrade for half a day before discovering I had to connect with the null cable to the light bar itself. Now I need to go to the field and see if the upgrade works!. | |
