Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Connect your laptop to EZGuide plus lightbar using the serial cable that should have come with your EZGuide plus. That cable is Trimble part number 18532 REV C. I think that's a null modem cable but not sure. If it is then you can connect using any serial null modem cable. Your laptop must have a 9 pin serial connector for that cable, EZGuide plus has a mating connector.
You must have the version 3.1 firmware file in the same directory as EZ Toolbox, then download the version 3.1 firmware to EZGuide plus lightbar by starting (double clicking) EZ-toolbox and follow it's install wizard directions.
Version 3.1 is a whole new ballgame, so it will take some time to download, but you will be VERY happy to see what it does for EZ Guide/Steer, the Trimble folks got it right this time.
