The Illinois government is getting creative on taxes. For instance a 4.95% tax on unrealized capital gains. Yes, a tax on unrealized gains. A new 7% tax on streaming services like Netflix. Gasoline is taxed $.483 per gallon. And I'm not sure if it passed or not, they were trying to tax $1.50 for each package delivered.
