I've been fighting to get a new to me spreader setup and properly working.
Ag Leader Integra controlling a Loftness 1230 spreader.
Had some manufacturing issues with spinner motors but that has been fixed and appears to be working. What's not working is the initial startup. If i engage hydraulics for the belt, turn the master switch on began application the belt speeds way up and is overapplying product. During this time the monitor is beeping that the conveyor is not responding when in fact it is turning and overapplying product. This continues with the actual rate bouncing around for 3-5 minutes until things normalize and hit target. In order to make things work, at initial start up of operations i dont load the machine and put the speed into the manual mode and let it run for 5 minutes before actually filling with product and applying. It seems to work after that....not perfect but close.
I've had it on two different tractors so it leads me to believe it is something to do with the hydraulic system on the spreader or the sensor on the spreader.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
It would help if you post your controller settings, but if there is no actual physical problem with the spreader you might just need to tweak those settings to get it to find its happy point quicker. The fact that the spreader is running does not mean that the agleader is able to control it (or at least not to its liking), hence the conveyor not responding message. The fact that it does eventually get there also makes me think it has some setting it isn’t liking.
