I used a UTV to RTK my boundaries this year... Not real satistfied with the results... Back story... So I bought a AgExpress harness for generic hookups, Mounted a G5plus in cab and then made a receiver cushined mount using parts off of planter Implement Guidence setup 7000SF3 globe... 2" square tubing off front bumper at Cab height... Worked fine except for UTV being narrow and smaller tires than say a tractor? So lines looked good when finished but UTV will rock around on uneven ground even driving old rows straight... So problem was noticed when we went back in to plant using Boundary Guidance Pass around edges of fields... I was suprised that a little rocking crossing somthing uneven was enough to move Borders 6"+... So the Boundary Guidance Pass recognizes these abnormallies and would wiggle planter on end rows... Made AutoPath for spraying and top dressing very jerky... Will be hand driving smooth borders next year with planter pass off RTK Implement Guidance and then build new boundaries off those... Only way I could see UTV working decent would be to mow edges and put reciever a foot off the ground to lesson the sub inch wiggles... But don't like the idea of expensive reciever a foot off the ground... But I will leave Interior Boundaries made with UTV as it's just too much to remember in a field of waterways and grassback terraces... I was told everything should start off planter, but don't see why Harvest maps wouldn't work... JMO
