Subject: RE: IC 1200 starts up in smartpath

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have an InCommand 1200 in my combine for yield monitoring/mapping and also for working with Steady Steer for steering. I use the Ag Leader Steady Steer controller and motor for actually steering the combine in soybeans. I only use it as a reference so I can pull in on a correct set of rows in corn. This works well since I have a 24 row planter and 8 row corn head. In corn, the Steady Steer motor is plugged into and is controlled by a Truesight 2 feeler system.

The AB guidance line is shown on the InCommand screen (I also show the planting map). This allows me to pull in on the left, center or right set of 8 of the 24 row planted set when starting a new strip. Once I steer onto a correct set, I engage the Truesight 2 feeler system and it steers the combine based on the feelers.

I recently updated from V 10.6 to V 10.8 in this InCommand. I did not notice any change as far as "defaulting to Smartpath" as others have mentioned. Smartpath is available, but I have no need for it during harvest.

This may be why I have not noticed this apparent change.
