Northern IN | I have a Challenger 665B which I believe works the same way. There is a hydraulic cylinder under the back of the cab that releases the brake. Look to see if it moves when you hit the switch. If it does make sure the linkage doesn’t have dirt built up keeping it from moving completely. I have had that happen to mine, especially in cold weather. If push comes to shove there is a bolt at the back of the tractor that can be screwed in to manually release the brake but you can’t set the brake when it’s released that way. If none of that works it could be the sensor that tells the tractor when the brake is released could be broke or out of adjustment.
