Maybe they have improved them, but the wiring on our 2012 is horrible. "Scotch locks" aren't something a quality builder uses. Yes that includes the sealed ones that are all over under our Thunder Creek. Also, on a trailer that is intended to be pulled out into fields that have standing corn stalks, how do you expect exposed wiring to last?

35 years ago Á trailer company was building Shamrock trailers. They contacted a guy I knew, so I went along once. They were setting up conduit, weatherproof boxes. Connections that were sealed, but accessible. I never bought one. But they had many small good parts. While not cheap.
But owner committed fraud.
