Michigan | We have a Ltl9000 with a big cam 400. Pretty clean truck and not much really wrong with it. The steer axle has wedge brakes that we are unable to get parts for. As of now they are in working order. Wondering if anyone has swapped wedge style over to s cam brakes. What would be involved. Am I better off finding an axle and swapping that over? Am I crazy and should sell the truck? Rather not sell it, we really need to upgrade the hopper bottom first. Maybe I’m over thinking it and should run it and not worry about it. Deal with it if/when we have an issue. That just seems like I’m setting myself up for a lot of down time. | |
