Subject: RE: Corn cob weight per bushel?

I know a bushel of ear corn weighs 70 pounds, and a bushel of shelled corn weighs 56 lbs.

If 1 bushel of ear corn will amount to half a bushel of shelled corn, how many pounds of cob will come from 1 bushel of ear corn when shelled?

Thanks,
Lance

I refer to the "IF" in the hypothetical question and refer to the correct answer to this hypothetical question again at the top.
