“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Thought you might like to see the round bale feeders we use to feed 500-600 wt. calves when we wean them. There is little or no waste with them. These calves will be fed alfalfa hay, lick tubs, for a few weeks them kicked out onto alfalfa and barley stubblefields till the first part of Nov. when they ship. hope to wean the rest of them this Fri.. The other half of our cattle we sell off the cow in the middle of Oct. in Utah.
