If I’m figuring right, it’s about half the cost comparing 1/2 beef to 1/2 pork. And that’s figuring premium Berkshire that sell for $2/lb live weight and $3.50/lb hanging beef. That’s getting to be $10+ per pound of take home meat after figuring processing. Saw a Facebook post the other day some guys were claiming to be getting upwards of $6/lb hanging weigh plus processing. I don’t like pork nearly as much but guessing most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a beef burger or pork burger
