NW Washington | I think your cardiologist would only offer warfarin as an alternative to Eliquis, and with warfarin, you have to have your blood tested very often.
My BIL with AFIB was on warfarin but switched to Eliquis when he figured out how to buy it in Canada for a much lower price than he paid locally.
He also has a pacemaker for his AFIB.
Aspirin has its share of problems, so you don't want to take it unless you have to.
