Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I can understand your reluctance to "wire around" the situation. As mentioned above, the Spra-Coups did/do somethings a bit differently. Switching from what they have to the Deere system changes somethings and using valves not intended for the Deere system might (already has) added to the potential confusion.

Some of the older Spra-Coupes did something with the pump that seemed unusual as I recall. Hopefully that quirk doesn't haunt you.

I believe some of them used bypass control to control the spray rate (Return excess to the tank). This in itself isn't a major obstacle since most controllers have that as a menu choice.

Just be certain after installation, that you do some testing with plain water. Put the system in MANUAL control and try to adjust the rate manually. If manually attempting to Increase and Decrease works properly then proceed to do other tests. If manually attempting to Increase and Decrease works backward then you need to make a menu or wiring change. If manually attempting to Increase or Decrease does not work at all, further investigation is needed.

In other words, if you cannot control the rate manually as expected, don't bother to try the system in automatic as it will fail.
