New Mexico
Huge area down here.

Some pretty good ( Big ) water at 5 ft on more than a few places here in the NE, the Middle next to the mountains, and especially on the West Slope too.

East end of course is the TX border....some Ogallala water there, Irrigation wells are generally 350 ft to the bottom of the Ogallala...called Red Clay. Granted some only drill to the top say 225 ft...pump that till they have to lower em.

Most anywhere there was, or is, a currently inactive volcanoe..there's lots of water. This whole State happens to be one of the World's latest active volcanic belts.

Pretty remote here, so the gradual water development always moves in from the East and with E money to accomplish such too.

Stock water...depends on the area...best areas it's ALL on top or close to.
Some areas in the E, NONE...no matter how far you drill it's dry. Other areas in the E, plenty of Salt water.
Some areas it's 600 ft, plenty in other areas at 300 ft too.

BEST stock water is the area in the NE where it's carbonated water. This is the World's only spot where they drill CO2 wells.

Cows will walk PAST good water...if there's fizzy water a mile or so ahead...just to drink the fizzy water.
