New Mexico | slowly but steadily we keep going generally lower here.
Had a fancy set of red angus hiefers this week..weighed 557 at 85 cwt.
Brother mates weighed 562 at 88 cwt.
Everything long time weaned, gentle...and a really nice nice set of cow material on those hiefers.
Yearling steers...a month ago they all brought 97 to 103....now a good set of 650 weights might bring 92...unless they only bring 88 to 90.
Good Young Bred cows...almost a give away 500 to 600 ( packers are loving it ).
All dryed up and no place to go, is the way things are here.
